Celebrate Halloween with a fantastic display of laser lights and music under the planetarium sky.  

      Boo at the Zoo ~ San Francisco
Bring your family to Boo at the Zoo for incredible thrills and chills! Roam the Zoo in search of candy, see special animal enrichment, create take-home crafts, take your picture with Casper the Friendly Ghost and much more. All activities are free with paid Zoo admission. Kids wearing costumes get $1 off admission.

      Exploratorium Family Halloween ~ San Francisco
      An afternoon of frightful, family-friendly fun and a bit of scary science. Sneak through a cemetery of dead science ideas, learn how blood-sucking leeches are used in medicine, or have a close encounter with reptiles that slither and creep. Plus, watch old cartoons accompanied by live accordion music, play a video game made from a jack-o-lantern, and decorate your own sugar skull to take home. All ages welcome; costumes encouraged! Noon–4:00 p.m at Exploratorium, Pier 15. Free with regular museum admission.
      
      Pixieland Halloween Spooktacular ~ Oakland
Calling all witches, ghosts and goblins for a day of fun at Pixieland. Costume parade, games, crafts, facepainting and more! Unlimited ride wristbands for $15.
