Mark di Suvero at Crissy Field    ~ San Francisco, through May 26, 2014Wonder as you wander under eight  towering steel sculptures by artist Mark di Suvero at Crissy Field. Set against  the backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge, with plenty of space to run and play,  the sculptures swerve, soar, and move with the breeze, creating dynamic lines  that frame and reframe the surrounding landscape in surprising new ways. This  free yearlong exhibition is presented by SFMOMA in partnership with the  National Park Service and Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.

The Cat in the Hat by Bay Area Children's Theatre ~ Oakland
Don your favorite chapeau and bring your munchkins to our summer show—a new stage version of Dr. Seuss’s brilliant classic, The Cat in the Hat, at Aesop’s Theatre in Children’s Fairyland.  You’ll recognize the rhyme and have a fun-filled time as our versatile cast uses live sound and bold movement to tell this whimsical, fast-paced story about a brother, a sister, and their unexpected visitor.
